Lina is a local mom who has been living in her car for a couple of months with her two daughters, ages 5 and 8.

She drives around each day looking for a safe place to park and sleep for the night.

She is exhausted and discouraged.

Even just feeding her children without a kitchen is an overwhelming task. They often take their cup of noodles to local gas stations, where they can get hot water for free.

Your gift of $60 will provide a night of safety and professional care for a local mom and her kids here at Vision House.

And if you're able to help before May 31, your gift will DOUBLE to give even more moms like Lina critical help in times of crisis.

Diversion Center Needs

At our Diversion Centers in Renton, Burien, and Shoreline, we provide one-on-one, in-person assistance by appointment.  This support includes:

  • access to computers for housing and employment searches
  • guidance in navigating community resources
  • laundry and shower facilities
  • tangible items such as clothing and blankets, and support with grocery and transportation needs. 

All items purchased on Amazon are shipped directly to the correct Diversion Center address and are acknowledged as in-kind charitable contributions.  For a receipt please contact our front office at 425.228.6356 or info@visionhouse.org.
